Stoke City 1-1 Everton
Everton survived some early Stoke pressure and took the lead just before the break when Tony Hibbert’s cross was deflected into his own net by Stoke striker Peter Crouch – the 1,000th top flight goal this season.
The Potters levelled after the break following a triple substitution by boss Tony Pulis, with Jerome lashing in from inside the penalty area to make it 1-1.
Stoke put pressure on the Everton goal in a bid to find a winner, but both sides had to settle for a point.
Liverpool 0-1 Fulham
Fulham secured a first win at Anfield in their history as they beat a much-changed Liverpool side in the Barclays Premier League.
Liverpool rested several players ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup final against Chelsea and they got off to the worst possible start as John Arne Riise’s cross was touched on by Alex Kacaniklic and flew in off Martin Skrtel.
Fulham almost grabbed a second when Kerim Frei struck the outside of the post from 20 yards and Alexander Doni saved well from Clint Dempsey.
Liverpool struggled to create clear-cut chances, with Brede Hangeland superbly blocking Maxi’s attempt as they held on for a famous win.
